Candlelight Tours at the Kell House Museum

Saturday evening, the Kell House Museum hosted Candlelight Tours.

The tours started at 6:00 p.m. and visitors were able to enjoy the magic of an early 20th century Christmas with all of the lights turned down throughout the house.

Tour guides used a single candle to lead visitors throughout the museum.

"It's important for people to see where they came from and see our traditions and see how they have grown into modern traditions.  It's great to celebrate Christmas here and see how beautiful it really is," said Curator at the Kell House Museum, Stacie Flood.

Frank Kell, who the house is named after, was a prominent businessman in Wichita Falls.  Kell and his brother-in-law, Joseph Kemp grew Wichita Falls into what it is today.
