Science Saturday is Back at the River Bend Nature Center

The weather was perfect on Saturday for the youth of Wichita Falls to participate in Science Saturday at the River Bend Nature Center.

Story time kicked off the afternoon with arts and crafts and then, kids were able to perform science experiments, build robots, walk on a forest trail and much more.

“We are trying to revitalize interest to get students interested in science and to get them excited and passionate about it.  That is our goal at River Bend Nature Center,” said field guide, Lance Aguste.

Every Science Saturday will have a different theme and different activities.
