A New Business is Bouncing Its Way to Wichita Falls

An indoor trampoline park is bouncing its way to Wichita Falls. It is a new kind of fun that kids of all ages can enjoy.

The Wichita Falls location of Urban Air Trampoline Park is described as being the "perfect location" for families in our area and surrounding communities.

StorkLand, a store that has everything for preemies, tweens, moms and dads is hoping to benefit.

"I think that is exciting.  I think the parents,  especially with this being in such proximity to us could have the kids over there and then just come across the street to us and shop at Storkland," said co-owner, Vikki Holcomb.

Holcomb also says this new business bouncing in is an excitement on different levels.

"I think it's great that we have an existing building that is going to be filled with a business here locally.  I think it's great that we've got something else for our children to do," said Holcomb.

Henry Florsheim the President and CEO of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce agrees.

"They'll be ecstatic.   The more places we have to take our kids and have fun, the better off as a community we are," said Florsheim.

Urban Air Trampoline Park is fun that contributes to the quality of life in Wichita Falls.

"Anything that gives us more to do, more options for our kids and activities  for birthday parties for places to go and enjoy ourselves,  that's a good thing," said Florsheim.

"The idea of it being an inside building is phenomenal because sometimes it's so hot here, sometimes it's so cold here that the kids have nothing to do outdoors.   This gives another indoor activity for these kids to do," said Holcomb.

Owners of Urban Air Trampoline Park are still deciding on two locations near the Kemp and Kell intersection.

It was a couple of local Texomans who thought to bring the trampoline park to Wichita Falls.

The trampoline park is expected to open by early summer.
