Duncan Man Sentenced in Shooting Death

DUNCAN, Okla.- A Duncan man who was charged with accessory to murder after the fact in the shooting death of Australian Christopher Lane has been sentenced.

Oddesse Barnes, 23, took a plea deal from prosecutors saying he would testify in court in the murder trials of Chancey Luna and Michael Jones in April. Barnes was sentenced to 25 years in prison, all but the first 12 years suspended. He's also receiving credit for time served so far.

Barnes was arrested for the crime last spring and was accused of helping to hide the gun used to kill the Australian baseball player. Police say he kept the gun for 24 hours before getting rid of it.
