Kaylea Armstrong, NCTC Return to Field

Former Burkburnett HS Softball standout Kaylea Armstrong and her North Central Texas College teammates returned to the field Friday, about four months after a tragic bus accident claimed the lives of four Lion players.

Armstrong, who was injured in the accident, pitched and DH'd for the Lions against Southwestern Assemblies of God as the Lions split a doubleheader, dropping the first game 8-7 before winning the second 11-2 at Darwin Field in Gainesville.
