Man Charged with Sexual Abuse of Children

Wichita Falls police say a 60-year-old man is behind bars on nearly a one million dollar bond after he was arrested and charged with continuous sexual abuse of young children.

According to the arrest affidavit, Charles Dale Dipprey was arrested Wednesday following an investigation that police say started in March of last year.

Investigators say a woman contacted authorities to report possible sexual abuse of her two children. The investigators also say one of the children was as young as five when the alleged incident began in November, 2012.

Authorities say the child told them details about the sexual acts supposedly done by Dipprey that a child that young could not have known otherwise.
