NWS Hosts Storm Spotter Training Class

Many Texomans gathered Saturday morning at the Midwestern State University Clark Student Center to be a part of the National Weather Service: Storm Spotter Training Class.

Those who were in attendance, learned about severe storms and how to report severe weather to the NWS.

Newschannel 6 spoke with on the attendees who feels that the information he learned today is very important to this area.

“It's kind of incredible how they still rely on people to spot storms to potentially save lives.  To me,  it was very shocking,” said Cesar Huitron.

If you want to learn more about the weather, the Newschannel 6 Skywarn 6 Weather team will be hosting the Weather Road Show and Fair, Saturday, March 28th
