Foster Struggles in Return to Texas

Former Hirschi Huskies star Marcus Foster had to wait to play his first game of the season in his home state, after he was suspended before Kansas State's game at Texas Tech last month.

He had to wait to get in the game Wednesday night at TCU, when he started on the bench in his second game back from suspension.

Once he finally got in the game, he knocked down a three-pointer, but that would be his only bucket of the night. Foster finished with five points on 1/6 shooting as the Wildcats suffered a 69-55 loss to the Horned Frogs at the Wilkerson-Greines Center in Fort Worth.

Foster played just 17 minutes Wednesday night, his second-lowest total of any game he played this season. The only game in which he played fewer minutes was January 3rd at Oklahoma State, when he was benched for most of the second half and went scoreless in 14 minutes.

Kansas State (13-14, 6-8 Big 12) will stay in Texas and visit #20 Baylor Saturday at 1 p.m. in Waco.
