Four Wichita Falls High School football players signed to play at the next level Thursday in the Coyote Fieldhouse, bringing the school's total football signing class for the year to seven, with a few more potentially still to come.
Three of the four will play together in college as Eric Butler, B.J. Mayze and Robert Williams all signed with NAIA Sterling (KS) College.
The players told us Thursday that it was Butler who originally was in contact with the school, and suggested they take a look at his teammates. Fellow Coyote senior Quentin Sims was mentioned as another player who may end up joining the group in Kansas.
Also on Thursday, L.J. Dabbs signed to play for Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.
He will join eight current Wichita County players already up at WBU, many of whom he said he played with growing up in Boys' Club football.
