Food For Your Flight

Travelers at the Wichita Falls Regional Airport will soon be able to dine on the fly.

"On The Fly Gourmet" will offer gourmet sandwiches, burgers, salads and much more.

“We will sell beer and wine and I would like to have something to go along with that and have a just a small bar assortment of food," said owner of "On The Fly Gourmet," Sally Harlow.

Harlow is ready to expand is ready to expand her catering business, “Good To Go Gourmet”.

“I think I'm ready to have the kitchen and have a great place for people to come," said Harlow.

John Burrus, the Director of Aviation for Wichita Falls is ready as well.

“To me,  this is the next step in providing a full service airport.  Our passengers expect it," said Burrus.

“I'm excited.  People have always asked me where they can eat  food, now I have a place even when I'm catering to give them my card and they can come and eat with me now," said Harlow.

Once "Gourmet On The Fly" is open for business, Harlow plans to serve food by the time the first flight leaves which is about 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning. Harlow is hoping to close by the time the last flight leaves which around 11:00 p.m.
