Bench Trial Delayed

DUNCAN, Okla.-Court officials took the day off during the sentencing phase for convicted killer Miles Bench Tuesday.

State prosecutors have rested their case Monday, and many witnesses for the defense are still traveling for their day in court. Court is expected to resume Wednesday morning with the defense calling their first witness.

Last week, Bench was found guilty of killing Velma teen Braylee Henry in June 2012. Jurors are deciding whether Bench will spend life in prison or receive the death penalty.
