Bad Weather is Bringing in Business

The winter weather hasn't stopped many Texomans from getting their food fix. Many people are choosing to dine in or call out for delivery from local restaurants, despite the dropping temperatures.

Paul Taylor is one of the many patrons who was at the Hibiscus Cafe on Wednesday, regardless of the wintry mix.

“This is the second time I've been here and it's delicious food.  I will brave the temperatures for this food," said Taylor.

It's business on days like Wednesday that the Hibiscus Cafe staff like to see.

“I enjoy having everybody here.  Usually when there is bad weather, we see a lot of bigger groups of people coming in, which is really nice for us," said Mary Panagiotarakos.

It's nice for the staff and filling for their patrons.

Newschannel 6 also reached out to pizza places around town and was told that they have gotten triple the amount of calls that they usually get.
