Olney Man Arrested After Girlfriend Mysteriously Dies

Young County officials have a man in custody, after a punch to his girlfriend's face may have led to her death.

The Graham Leader Newspaper is reporting that Jesse Gonzales is being held on charges of Aggravated Assault with Bodily Injury, after the body of his 28-year-old girlfriend Danae Adkins was found Saturday morning.

Gonzales and Adkins reportedly got into a violent fight last Thursday night, which left her with a black eye and bruises on her arm and leg.

Gonzales turned himself in to authorities Wednesday. Investigators say they are waiting for autopsy results before possibly increasing the charges against him to murder.
