Red River Smokeoff

 The 2014 Class of Leadership Wichita Falls will host the Red River Smokeout April 11. The event is a huge cook-off  sanctioned by the Lone Star Barbecue Society. 

The event is from 9a.m. to 5 p.m. It's located at 1500 Scotland Dr. at The Falls.

There will be contests in brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and peoples' choice competition. The event is free to attend.  Tasting tickets cost $1. Each ticket used at a booth will increase that persons chances in winning.

You can also look forward to live music, and multiple different vendors.

Winner will gain points towards their national championship competition. $7500 in prize is up for grabs in brisket, pork ribs, and chicken categories plus Peoples' Choice competition!


All funds raised will go to Leadership Wichita Falls, and will also benefit the Children's Aid Society of Wichita Falls.
