Reckless Driving Leads to Three Arrests

Wichita Falls, TX - Wichita County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people they suspect committed theft and identity theft on Tuesday morning.

Wichita County deputies got a call at around 8:45 a.m. about a reckless driver on Kell Freeway. Witnesses said the driver was speeding, was weaving in and out of lanes and almost hit a guardrail.

The deputies found the car at the Exxon gas station at the corner of Highway 82 and FM 369

The investigating deputies found ID cards, driver's licenses, which deputies determined were stolen, around 15 stolen motor vehicle registration tags, credit cards that were reported as "stolen" as well as stolen items from the Walmart.

Authorities also found drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Two men and a woman were arrested, though none of the suspects were from Wichita County. According to authorities, they were from Hillsboro, Alvarado and the Fort Worth area.
