Traffic Stop Lands Man in Jail

A 22-year-old man is spending Tuesday night behind bars and several bags of marijuana are off the streets after a traffic stop in Wichita Falls.

Officers say they saw the man speeding on Central Freeway and tried to pull him over.

Although he did slow down, police say he continued to drive six more blocks.

Before coming to a complete stop, they say he tossed money and marijuana out of the vehicle in the 1500 block of North 6th Street.

The man is facing a lengthy list of charges, which include Possession and Evading Arrest.
