Woman Claiming to be a Nurse is Arrested for Prescription Fraud

A woman has been charged with seven counts of Prescription Fraud.

Wichita Falls Police say 34-year-old Lacey Lynn Harms called the same pharmacy seven times, pretending to be a nurse, claiming that her doctor needed a prescription for Adipex filled for a patient.

The pharmacy become suspicious and called the doctor Lynn was supposedly getting the prescription for, who said it was a fraudulent prescription.

Harms was arrested Tuesday on a warrant and was charged with seven counts of Fraud Possession of a Controlled Substance/Prescription Schedule 3 & Schedule 4.
