Faith Refuge Ready To Kick Off 5th Annual Decorator Show

Wichita Falls, TX - Faith Refuge is gearing up for its 5th Annual Decorator Show House. This event is one of the biggest fundraisers benefiting Faith Refuge for Women.

The event kicks off tomorrow and runs throughout the entire weekend. Thursday, designers were putting their last touches on rooms in hopes of making a good impression to visitors and help raise money for Faith Refuge.

With 16 designers and more than 30 sponsors, the event is set to excite anyone with an eye for interior design.

Local businesses and designers over the last couple of weeks have been putting their design skills to the test.

The home of this years tour has a unique history, it's a Tudor style home.

Despite the homes age, designers said they managed to bring a little modern flavor to the home.

Pamela Muller, owner of Pamela Muller Sesigns, said she has been participating in the event since it started five years ago.

“This year we decided to have a lot of fun with our room. it's not your traditional living room, and you buy a room. We reinvented our rooms, so you'll have to come back and see it,” said Pamela Muller, a designer for the event.

"Decorators, designers and businesses they come in and adopt a room. They decorate it, paint it, fix it up and update it with the latest trends and people can purchase tickets and tour the house and items are for sale," said Vicky Payne, Director of Marketing and Development at Faith Mission & Refuge.

Tickets are $10 dollars ahead of time and $12 at the door. You can get tickets to this event at various businesses around town including United Market Street, Faith Mission, Faith Refuge, and Tangles.
