Early Voting In Wichita Falls

Early voting will begin Monday, April 27, 2015. On the ballot for Wichita Falls: The election of three City Council positions: Councilor at Large, Councilor District 1, Councilor District 2, proposition for the sale of surplus park property, and the $59.5 million bond for the Wichita Falls Independent School District bond.

You can cast your ballot at several locations throughout the city.

Municipal Auditorium:

Monday, April 27th through Friday, May 1st          8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th               9:00 am to 9:00 pm

Sikes Center Mall and Home Depot:

Monday, April 27th through Sunday, May 3rd        10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th               9:00 am to 9:00 pm

All registered voters can vote in this election for the position of City Councilor at Large and the proposition. Only voters in Districts 1 and 2 can vote for these positions. All voters must present a valid ID.

Here is a list of the acceptable forms of photo ID

Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)

Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS

·        

Texas personal identification card issued by DPS

·        

Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS

·        

United States military identification card containing the person's photograph

United States citizenship certificate containing the person's photograph

·        

United States passport

Handicap parking is available at Municipal Auditorium on the 7th Street and Bluff Street entrances and curbside voting is available for handicap persons.

Mail ballot applications must be received no later than 5pm, April 30th in the Office of the City Clerk, Municipal Auditorium, 1300 7th Street, Room 104, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301.
