olice received a call from the
Rathgeber Hospitality House at United Regional
in reference to drugs.
Hospital security received an anonymous call about someone doing drugs and covering the smoke detector. Security gained entry into the room and found a male and female lying next to each other in the bed, and the smoke detector covered. Security then asked the two residents to leave due to violation of room agreements.
The residents agreed to leave but asked for help removing their property. Security agreed to help, and during the removal of their property, security discovered a glass pipe and a crystalline substance in the night stand. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine.
The total amount of meth found was .6 grams. The two subjects were detained and security called 911.
The male subject then passed out, and was taken to the hospital, where he admitted to swallowing about 10 grams of meth.
