Wichita Falls Moving to Stage 3 Restrictions

Wichita Falls -- The city of Wichita Falls is moving out of its worst drought restrictions, Stage 5 Drought Contingency.

Councilors decided Tuesday morning to move the city into Stage 3 Drought Emergency.

The move is no doubt a direct response to all the recent rain that has fallen in the watershed. In just a few short weeks, combined lake levels have jumped to more than 50 percent.
