HSWC Offers Aid to Pet Owners Facing Flood Waters

Wichita Falls, Texas - As a way to help those who are having to evacuate because of the flood waters, the Humane Society of Wichita County is opening part of the shelter to people who need a place to temporarily keep their dogs.

The shelter asks owners to bring shot records, and the rabies shot must be current as required by law. If shots are needed, a doctor will be on staff Thursday to provide the shot for a fee.
