Despite rising waters coming close to the MPEC, the Wichita Falls Nighthawks still plan on playing Saturday night's game against the Green Bay Blizzard.
The flood waters are not expected to seriously impact the Kay Yeager Coliseum parking lot until Sunday morning, meaning Saturday's game should be played without incident, even if it may be raining outside. Saturday's game will be Military Appreciation Night.
As for the matchup on the field, it's a rematch from last Saturday, when Green Bay (5-5) edged out the Nighthawks (4-6) on a last-second field goal to win, 37-36.
