Locations Available to Dispose Storm Debris

 Wichita Falls, Texas –Monday afternoon's storm caused some tree and shrub damage in the city.

City officials would like to inform residents who have debris that they can dispose of it free of charge at two locations:

- The Transfer Station located at 3200 Lawrence Road, open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

-  The landfill located at 10984 Wiley Road, open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All loads must be covered during transportation. There is a fine associated with uncovered loads as well as an additional charge for uncovered loads at each location.
