Luna Sentenced in Chris Lane's Death

Duncan, Oklahoma -A Stephens County judge has followed the jury's recommendation in sentencing the man who killed Christopher Lane to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Chancey Luna was formally sentenced Tuesday for killing Lane in a drive-by shooting in 2013. He remained solemn as the sentence was handed down. In April, a jury found Luna guilty of first-degree murder and recommended he spend the rest of his life in prison.

Luna's co-conspirator, Michael Jones, is serving life in prison with the possibility of parole for the driving the car used in the shooting. A third teen, James Edwards Jr., is awaiting trial as an accessory to murder.
