Over 60 Grams of Meth Found During Traffic Stop

Wichita Falls, Texas -

A Wichita Falls man remains in the Wichita County Jail after he was arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop on Loop 11.

Wichita Falls police say on June 12th, 53-year-old John William Sturm was driving a 1993 Ford Mustang, but didn't use his turn signal while going from the middle lane into the left lane.

Police say he consented to a search, and that's when police they say they found eight and a half grams of meth, a meth pipe and needles inside a shoe and baggies containing meth.

The total amount of meth found was 66 grams.

Sturm is charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Substance Over 4 Grams, Under 200 Grams. His bond is $100,000.
