Man Suspected Of Breaking Through Wall and Into Apartment

Wichita Falls, Texas – One man is behind bars after he is suspected of breaking though a wall to steal from an apartment.

, Wichita Falls Police officers responded to a possible burglary at an apartment in the 1400 block of Burkburnett Road.

Police say that the suspect, 43-year-old Christopher Earl Cribbs, went into a vacant apartment and broke through the wall to get into the victim's apartment next door. Once inside, a laptop and prescription medication was stolen from the apartment.

On June 4


, Officers also suspected Cribbs of breaking into a residence located in the 1100 block of North Beverly. A dog sitter arrived at the residence to find the wood on the door missing, as well as a drum set.

Officers suspected Cribbs of the theft due to his history of living at the residence, before being asked to leave.

The drum set was later recovered at a pawn shop.

Cribbs was arrested on June 25th on a warrant, and he is currently being held in the Wichita County Jail.
