Quanah Man Indicted For Double Murder

 Hardeman County, Texas - A grand jury out of Hardeman County has indicted a Quanah man for the murders of a man and woman back in April. 

County officials told Newschannel 6 Gary Andrew Callaway has been indicted on 2 counts of Capital Murder. 

Texas Rangers said the 30-year-old shot Terrance Besaw of Chillicothe and Lisa Waddle of Burkburnett at a house near Hwy 285 and Loop 133 on April 8th, 2015. 
Callaway was arrested in Wichita Falls eight days after the murders took place on a Credit Card Abuse warrant at the Motel Six in Wichita Falls . Investigators say he later admitted to killing the two while being questioned. 

The murders murders of 41-year-old Terrance Besaw and 47-year-old Lisa Waddle happened off of Texas 285 just North of State Loop 133.

Callaway is being held on a $1 million bond.

    A WFPD Officer that was injured on the job in July 2017 has undergone surgery on his back following a fight with the company that oversees the city's workers' compensation claims.
