Bowie Breaks Ground On Bowie Knife Project

Bowie, Texas - The Bowie Knife Project took a big step forward this morning when officials broke ground on the project.

The knife will be located near Pelham Park by the rodeo grounds, across from the Bowie Chamber of Commerce.

The bowie knife will be over 19-feet, and it has been accepted into the Guinness World Book of Records as the largest bowie knife.

It is expected to have a big economic impact on Bowie as well.
