Police: Woman Arrested Following Assault on Boyfriend's Mother

Wichita Falls, Texas – A woman is behind bars after police say she assaulted her boyfriend’s mother and threatened to fling blood on two public servants.

According to police, around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday night, 25-year-old Christie Villa showed up at her house drunk, where she demanded her child.

Her boyfriend’s mother refused to give Villa the child because she was drunk, in which Villa knocked down a big-screen TV and broke a coffee table before advancing on the woman.

Villa took the child before she struck the woman, punching her several times and knocking her down before kicking her.

Afterwards, police say Villa arrived at the hospital covered in blood, saying she fell through a window. However, she was uncooperative with hospital staff, and when an officer and hospital security attempted to calm her down, she tried to fling blood on them.

Villa has been charged with Assault Family Violence, Abandoning or Endangering a Child and two counts of Harassment of a Public Servant. Villa is currently being held in the Wichita County Jail on a bond of $20,000.
