J.T. Barrett Speaks About QB Battle

Former Rider Raider star J.T. Barrett spoke with reporters at the first day of practice for Ohio State.

Barrett is competing with Cardale Jones for the starting QB job for the #1-ranked Buckeyes, after leading them to an 11-1 record before being injured in the fourth quarter of the Michigan game. Jones came in and won the Big Ten championship, Sugar Bowl and National Championship game.

On Monday, Barrett spoke about how he and Jones are friends, and he wouldn't want to win the job simply because Jones played poorly, but rather wants to win it with both at their best.
