Ten Ranches Compete For Bragging Rights At 35th Annual Texas Ranch Roundup

Wichita Falls, TX - The 35th Annual Texas Ranch Roundup takes place this weekend. Ten Texas ranches will be competing in a rodeo for bragging rights.

Every year in August people from across the state and Red River flock to the MPEC in downtown Wichita Falls for all the action.

The two day event will be Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Proceeds from the festivities benefits three organizations including the North Texas Rehabilitation Center.

The event's lineup includes a rodeo, more than 200 booths at the Bit, Spur and Western Collectables Show and Festival, which will be taking place at the MPEC inside of the Ray Clymer Exhibit hall.

Friday starting at 9:30 a.m. there will be a kids roundup. It will be taken place inside the Kay Yeager Coliseum.

There will also be a cutting horse and ranch horse competitions.

If you do not have any plans this weekend, head on down and enjoy some Western fun.

Tickets are $5 dollars for adults and free for children 12 and under.
