Henrietta Man Sentenced

A Henrietta man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Benjamen McCorkle entered the promise plea in the 30th District Court in Wichita Falls on Friday.
Police said he approached a woman at the Flying J Truck Stop on Jacksboro Highway and pulled out a gun.  It happened back in January.  The victim hit McCorkle with her car and police said then he fled the scene.
He will be credited for the 206 days already served in prison and will face no fine.
