DPS Trooper Retires After 30 Years

After more than 30 years of service, the Texas Department of Public Safety said goodbye to one of their own.
Senior Trooper Tony Fulton turned in his hat on Friday at his retirement party.  Many people who attended the part had worked with Fulton for decades.  He said he will miss working with the.
“It’s been almost 31 years that I’ve been working for the state,” he said, “You know, They told us in the academy that our job was going to be the ticket to the greatest ride, the greatest show on Earth, and they were right.  It’s been a good ride.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
Fulton said he is excited to spend more time with his grandchildren.
