Archer City Coach Arrested

A public figure in Archer City has posted bail after being behind bars.
Wesley Allen Johnson, the head coach of the baseball team at the high school was arrested on August 7th.
According to the arrest affidavit, police were dispatched to the 100 block of South Center in reference to a disturbance.  Authorities said the 31-year-old female victim told them he came home and they started arguing.  The victim said he broke dishes along with other items in the house.  The arrest affidavit states Johnson grabbed the victim by the arm and ripped the front of her shirt.
A witness told police he pushed the victim, threw and broke dishes in the home in the 800 block of South Oak.  When authorities arrived at the home, Johnson admitted to throwing the dishes. 
The arrest affidavit states Johnson wasn’t compliant to the officers' commands.  So, officers kept a taser pointed at him and placed him in the patrol car. 
Johnson is charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury.
