Hotter'N Hell Hundred: Consumer Show, Street Closures & Parking Changes

Wichita Falls, TX- More than 14,000 riders along with their families will be in downtown Wichita Falls this weekend which could make traveling around town difficult for residents.

The consumer show opens up Friday at the MPEC. Hotter'N Hell officials  consider this to be the official kickoff event of the weekend. It will feature over 90 vendors offering a wide range of cycling related  products. It's also where riders will go to pick up their registration  packets or take care of late registration.

If you would like to check out the event, doors open Thursday at 3 - 8 p.m., Friday 1-10 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Here are a few streets city officials say will be closed Friday starting at 4:30 p.m:

- Portions of Scott St.
- Lamar St.
- Indiana St. (between 2nd and 5th Street will be closed for the criterion race) - 6th St. (traffic will be detoured North to Lincoln at Burnett St.)

City officials also say if you are downtown to look out for temporary no parking signs posted along race routes. If your vehicle is parked along a race route Friday after 4:30 p.m. it will be towed.
