Ryan, Okla. - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has requested assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation after a missing person's case turned into a homicide investigation.
A ranch owner went to the home of one of his employees in the middle of the ranch and found a possible crime scene. Friday morning, the body of 27-year-old Fernando Hernandez was found several hundred yards from the home. Due the condition of the body, Hernandez is being considered a homicide victim.
OSBI agents are working with Jefferson County sheriff's detectives to identify possible suspects. The Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the cause and manner of death.
