Disturbance Leads to Theft Arrests

Wichita Falls, Texas - A disturbance led to the arrest of two for engaging in organized criminal activity.

On Sunday, September 06, 2015, around 4:21 p.m., WFPD Officers were dispatched to Target on Kemp Street in reference to a disturbance.

Officers received a description of the suspects and information that the suspects had left in a white Tahoe and may be going to Walmart on Lawrence Road.

Officers found the vehicle in the parking lot of Kohl's, and detained two suspects outside the store. During the investigation, officers recovered over $3000 worth of clothing that had been stolen from Dillard's.

 The two suspects were identified as 50-year-old Bobby Burrell and 34-year-old Tanika Huffman.

Both were arrested for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity Theft over $2500.

A third suspect was involved in this incident but that suspect was not located.  

All three persons were from Lawton. The vehicle was impounded and held for seizure.
