Texoma Car Chase Spans Multiple Counties

Five people were taken into custody Friday morning after a chase through multiple Texoma counties. The chase involved ten law enforcement agencies. 

The chase started just before 2:00 a.m. in Whitesboro, Texas. Law enforcement started pursuing a stolen 2007 Ford Mustang. Then, the chase traveled through Gainesville as well as Montague, Clay and Wichita Counties. It ended on U.S. 281 just north of FM 2581.

18-year-old Henry Douglas Triston and  41-year-old Valerie Bickerstaff were taken to the hospital before being taken to the Archer County Jail. Three other juveniles were also taken into custody. They are in the Wichita County Detention Center. All five are charged with theft of a vehicle, theft of guns, and evading arrest. 

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office says the Mustang was stolen in Colony, Texas. Authorities say all five were also involved in a theft in Sherman, Texas. Deputies found four handguns inside the car. Three of them were stolen. There was also a large amount of drug paraphernalia and several pills inside the car. 
There was also luggage packed in the trunk.
