Large Fire Crossing County Lines is Now 65% Contained

Several fires are still chewing up the landscape on Tuesday, a full 24-hours after they began.

The so-called "Barry Fire" which sparked from downed power lines in Jack County Monday, and traveled all the way to Clay and Archer counties, is now 65 percent contained.

However, it has done extensive damage, destroying more than two thousand acres.

Two vacant homes and an outbuilding were damaged in the fire, but so far, no one has been injured.
