WICHITA FALLS, TX - The Wichita Falls community is now getting involved in the revitalization of Lake Wichita.

From t-shirts to yard signs and banners, you can help support the 'We Support Lake Wichita' movement. Steve Garner, a member of the Wichita Falls Parks Board says items are now available to purchase.

"We are in our fund-raising mode right now so we have to get as much as we can for this project," Garner said.

Lake Wichita is the oldest man-made lake in Texas and would take an estimated $30 million to revive.

Tom Lang with the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee says community support is crucial in helping this project get started.

"It's our community's lake and it is our community's life," Lang said. "It's all about the future of our community and I really think fixing Lake Wichita is
going to change the face of our community for a long time, not just recreational but economically and socially as well. It's a lot more
than just a fishing hole and we want everyone to be able to step up and support that."

Anyone interested in displaying a yard sign, poster or banner--got to or go to the organizations Facebook page.
