Bark For Life

Bark For Life
The American Cancer Society is hosting Bark for Life to honor the care giving qualities of canine companions.

The event is Saturday, October 3 at 10 a.m. It’s at the dog park on Fairway and Langford. It begins with a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.

By supporting Bark for Life, you also help the American Cancer Society save lives. You are encouraged to bring your best canine friends and join the American Cancer Society for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with contests, and games. You can look forward to prizes for competitions like best dog tricks, cutest dog, and most spirited.

There will also be tons of vendors and a silent auction. The Humane Society of Wichita County will be on-site with dogs available for adoption. You will also have the opportunity to rent a dog to participate in the walk.

Pre- Registration is $10 for the first dog, $5 for each additional dog, per owner. This includes bandanas. It is $15.00 to register day of event.
