WSCO Discovers Ten Pounds of Marijuana During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on Highway 287 resulted in a major drug bust, putting two men behind bars.

Harrison Sam Hing and Berry Harng were in a vehicle on Saturday at the intersection of 287 and FM 2384.

A Wichita County Sheriff's Deputy pulled the car over for a traffic violation. During the stop, K-9 Deputy Cain discovered drugs.

Further investigation resulted in the discovery of ten pounds of high grade marijuana and 100 grams of hash. It added up to $78,000 worth of drugs off the streets.

Both men are were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 Over 4g Under 400g and Possession of Marijuana Over 5 lbs – Under 50 lbs.
