Injury Accident on Kell Boulevard

UPDATE: The woman is currently in critical condition.

A woman was rushed to the hospital after an accident along Kell East, near the Kemp Blvd. exit.

Sgt. Harrold McClure with the Wichita Falls Police Department said the woman was driving an SUV eastbound on Kell, when she drifted off road, hitting sever bushes, and then slamming into a tree.  This happened around 12:30p.m. on Thursday.

The condition of the woman is unknown at this time.  Police said there were two dogs in the car when the accident happened.  One of them appeared to be seriously injured, but Animal Control is taking care of them.

Traffic was slowed down along Kell Blvd. because of the accident.  Drivers were advised to take a different route.
