Large Drug Bust by DPS

Large amounts of meth and heroin are off the streets after a big drug bust by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS stopped a car in I-40 Monday afternoon for a traffic violation in Potter County.  They found over four pounds of meth valued at over $409,000.  Two pounds of heroin valued at over $257,000 were also recovered  Officials said it was hidden in the gas tank.
Eduardo Cerda Eaquivel was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  DPS officials said the drugs were being transported from Phoenix to Oklahoma City.
