Woman Found in Trunk Identified

The woman found dead in a trunk on I-44 last week has been identified.

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman as 61-year-old Carol Trynosky.  Her body was found on Wednesday, September 30th in the trunk of a car on the side of I-44 near the Randlett exit.  This is about seven miles from the Oklahoma-Texas border.

The Medical Examiner’s Office is still working to determine how she died.  A spokesperson apologized for the confusion on Friday concerning the person’s identity.
