Crews Battle Holliday Grass Fire

Texoma fire crews are still out battling a fire on Ray Lane, north of Holliday.  The fire started as a controlled burn at around 1 p.m., according to the Archer County Sheriff's Office.

The Holliday Fire Department thought they put the fire out, but once they left it rekindled, according to officials.

Overall, the fire scorched 181 acres. No homes were damaged and no one was injured, according to the Archer County Sheriff's Office. Some fire crews have cleared out, while others remain on scene to monitor the area.
