Two New Emergency Clinics Headed To Wichita Falls

Two new emergency clinics are heading to Wichita Falls. Kemp Street will be the new home for both Community Med Urgent Care and Family Care, and Select ER.

The 3800 Kemp Partnership (John Hirschi, GP), and the Andy Lee Company is announcing a new 10,000 square foot free standing clinic called Select ER.  It will be located at 3808 Kemp Blvd.

A long term commitment was signed for the continuous operating clinic.

Select ER has completed a site plan and rendering of the building. Architectural plans are underway and construction should begin in late fall of 2015. Officials expect the project to be completed in late spring of 2016.

The other clinic is called Community Med Urgent Care and Family Care.

The urgent care clinic will also be located on Kemp Street. Right now, they are planning to open the center this coming December, according to officials with Community Med.

They are working on bids for construction to begin on the inside of the building. They expect to start construction in just a couple weeks.

The clinic will start with providing urgent care 24 hours a day, and then slowly add in a family practice, according to business officials.

We will continue to follow the developments on these two new clinics.
