Home Invasion on Offutt Street

WICHITA FALLS, TX -

One man is in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest after an early morning home invasion.

Accord to Wichita Falls Police, three black males armed with guns broke into a home at 301 Offutt Street around 2:30 am Monday morning. 

The suspects allegedly chased the 32 year old victim to the back of the home and shot him once in the chest. 

The victim was transported and admitted to United Regional Hospital. At last check, the victim was listed in fair condition. 

Three other people were at home at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured. 

Police don't have much description of the suspects because witnesses say they had masks over their faces at the time of the home invasion. 

The suspects were last seen on foot heading west on McLaughlin Street.
