Scratch-Off Thief Charged

A man is behind bars after he reportedly stole 280 lottery tickets, worth at least $7,000.

The owner of the Garrison's Food Fart, reported the theft, saying the former manager stole packages of scratch offs, after activating them.

Police arrested,Bill Germain for the theft, as an investigator with the Texas Lottery Commission said more than $4,000 has been paid out in regards to the reported stolen lottery tickets.

Authorities say Germain admitted to stealing the lottery tickets and cashing them in.

German was arrested and charged with theft over $25,000, under $30,000
